An upcoming modern, live fire, fine dining Israeli Restaurant, is opening soon in West Palm Beach. The are seeking an Events Manager to join the team. This dynamic position encompasses sales, coordination, planning, and supervision of events across various venues, while also integrating seamlessly with daily hospitality operations.



The Events Manager will be tasked with promoting and advertising group and private dining events, weekly programming events, fostering business connections, handling inquiries and referrals, and securing event bookings to optimize restaurant income. Additionally, they will oversee the execution of private dining events.



As the primary point of contact for programming, group and private dining sales, and events, the Events Manager plays a crucial role. Their responsibilities include selling, coordinating, and planning group and private dining events at the restaurant, along with weekly programming events. This role is largely a sales role and the Events Manager will be required to go after potential clients to secure bookings. They will be responsible for daily restaurant operations and administrative work. They are tasked with developing business relationships, handling inquiries and referrals, and securing event bookings to enhance restaurant revenue.


The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication and writing skills. They will also be a people person, detail-oriented, results-driven, consistent, organized, and a dependable team player. The Events Manager will also have a strong background in customer service and hospitality. We are looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys splitting their time behind a computer and inside of the restaurant. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Book, plan, and coordinate all venue events and restaurant programming, including corporate functions, private parties, weddings, and various programming events.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), update them as needed, and communicate regularly with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) management teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to delegate tasks for successful event execution.
  • Create floor plans, custom menus, and event outlines for client presentations.


Communication and Collaboration:

  • Point of contact for our events department and work closing with the General Manager and Executive Chef
  • Promptly respond to all voicemails, phone calls, client and internal emails, and inquiries within 24 business hours, manage and maintain communication to all location event inquiries with potential clients.
  • Comfortable and personable on the phone with clients.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure equipment (Audio Visual, power cords, etc.), linen, dinnerware, and other event essentials are available and set up appropriately.
  • Displays enthusiasm, dedication, and interest in job responsibilities and duties.


Sales and Client Relationship Management:

  • Understanding this is largely a sales role, the Event Manager is required to prospect for new clients, follow up on leads, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Identify business opportunities, close sales, negotiate contracts, and upsell services while understanding client needs.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to drive event bookings and revenue growth.
  • Review sales performance metrics, generate reports, and collaborate on sales goals with the management team.

Event Execution and Hospitality:


  • Attend and facilitate events alongside management teams to ensure smooth execution and address any issues.
  • Assist with general hospitality duties during non-event hours, including greeting guests, answering the phone, managing reservations, and supporting service staff.


Continuous Improvement and Administration:

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices to improve event services.
  • Set up reservation and ticket websites, (Opentable, Eventbrite, etc) handle event inquiries and site tours, and prepare proposals for potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to promote programming effectively and achieve sales goals.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to set priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time and project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and energetic self-starter capable of leading projects from inception to completion.

Experience, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of event planning or hospitality management experience, preferably in a high volume environment. 
  • Miminum 1 year of previous sales experience is preferred.
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with event platforms, Tripleseat (preferred), reservation/booking platforms like OpenTable, EventBrite.
  • Possession of required food handling (ServeSafe) and alcohol certifications (Basset). 
  • Proven track record of planning and executing events of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Exceptional people skills and ability to interact with diverse clients and guests.
  • Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the West Palm Beach events and hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.




Compensation Details


Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 (Based on experience) Salary + 3% Commission
